Our aspiring little musician

Well, I have not posted much this week as there has been much to do and it is Spring Break. Those with school-aged children understand this. It's great because you get to spend a lot of time with your kids, but it can also be exhausting (becuase you get to spend a lot of time with your kids)! The good news in my case is that B was home most of the week with very little scheduled lessons or rehearsals.



He helped out a lot by spending more time wit E (I think he really missed her when he was in Houston, AND he leaves again Monday for a week). She was watching him one day as he practiced for an upcoming concert and he decided she should be able to play as well. She had her first hapsichord lesson. This lasted all of about 4 minutes. Then she started pounding the keys too hard and daddy told her she had to stop or she would break some strings. I don't think she heard him. Lesson over.
